Tanoshii worked on a promotional advertisement for Terri Lynn Bridal that will be printed in the Winter/Spring edition of Washingtonian Bride & Groom Magazine.

One thing I enjoy doing is keeping my laptop organized, it helps me work faster and helps me stay stress-free. I try to keep my desktop tidy on a daily basis, but as time presses me for project deadlines – I inevitably leave a mess in my wake. So begins the lengthy process of opening up files, estimating their importance and either sorting them to their proper location or sending them to the recycling bin. One fun way I enjoy keeping organized is giving my desktop folders artsy icons, this helps me to find them quickly by sight, rather than having to read the text. Check out how I iconize my client’s folders:
I found these icons by looking up “Free desktop icons” and on a mac it’s easy to set them up in place of the folder icons.
For Mac:
- Once you’ve downloaded the icons, click on the icon and hit “command” + “i” to view info.
- Then do the same for your folder you wish to have the icon.
- Then you select the icon in the top left corner on the icon info box, “command” + c” to copy it.
- Select the folder icon in the top left corner of the folder, hit “command” + “p” to paste it.
- And that’s it, you can make your desktop an easier place to work that’s also more tanoshii!
